Humphrey the Hippo

hiya everyone. my name is Humphrey and i'm 2 years old

ok, i'm tired of playing with you guys. bye

Ah mummeeeeee, to cuuuuuute for words!

Stokie's shopping trip

Shhhh ... don't tell anyone, but Stokie is a girl and could NOT resist a bit of shopping ;)

flip flops anyone?

yeah, checking email was a bit of a problem ...

we got hungry, as you do, and found the FOOD!!

the affects of this 'home made' atcher were felt. and unappreciated.

bread anyone??

Stokie's Truck

for the record ... 1 outta the 5 bags here, belonged to Stokie.
just about rocked us all to sleep, it was so comfy

busses add insult to injury ...
Six Pack then handed out punishment for parking next to the bus sign. bastard.
soon we were back on the road. eat dust evil doers (insert evil laugh here). mwahahahaha!

So, let me put this all to rest once and for all. Stokie used to gun totting, leatherman wearing, gum boot wearing guide on overland trucks back in the day and, was a little rough around the edges when it was needed. And, on occasion was known to run chickens, pigs and a few donkeys over in her overland truck.

Stokie in Swaziland

Everyone attended this visit, apart from the butcher and the backer. The candle stick maker was right on cue making elephants.

ready ... steady ... GO

40 seconds in ...

3 minutes in ...

6 minutes lada .. TAM TAM TARRAA!

Early morning surprise

GOOOOOOOOOOOOD morning sunshine!
12cm is big ... by most measures ...

fiesty critter

This is not an illusion. Your eyes are not playing any tricks on you. This is the cheeky (nothing little about it) surprise I found UNDER MY TENT one morning. And people wonder why this was my last camping trip ...

Stokie in Kruger Park

Here he comes ...
checking out the scene of the scare ...
boo!

South Africa's best national park home to the Big 5, beautiful scenery and friendly local guides with a wealth of information to share! We saw the Big 5 on our very first afternoon game drive and, literally were WOW'ed! Most of the "WOWing" was because of a huge elephant bull flapping his ears, trying to scare us off. HA!

Needless to say, nerves were calmed down with a chilled beer and braai! Yummy!

Stokie in Mozambique

Ahhh .... the serenity ...

dhow trip to bazaruto for some diving!!

well dived lunch and DRINKS!

then, for Saturday afternoon rugga game. England vs the Boks!!

Fun Fun Fun Fun and did I say FUN?!?

Mozambique rocked from day 1 to day 14, all through Swaziland, Mozambique and Kruger National Park. The bush and beach combo was fabulous and just what was needed to get some color onto this city stained skin.
